Inaugural Multi-Stakeholder Roundtable Meeting

An inaugural multi-stakeholder roundtable meeting was held in Toronto in November 2019 to build consensus on priorities, to develop strategies, and to create a multi-year work plan to tackle inefficiencies in cancer care as discovered in the patient-reported findings detailed in the report ‘Patient Insights on Canadian Cancer Care – All.Can Canada Patient Survey Report.’

The consensus statement:  All.Can Canada will focus on optimizing patient entry into Canadian cancer care systems, ensuring swift, accurate and appropriately delivered diagnosis and that patients experience coordinated, effective support throughout their cancer journey. The preliminary focus will be on ensuring swift, accurate and appropriately delivered diagnosis as the entry point into the cancer care system.

 

The All.Can Canada Steering Committee was assembled with representation from all stakeholder groups to support, guide and oversee the progress of this multi-year project.
